This is the book blessing in the front of my Book of Shadows. The idea is that when you consecrate your BOS, you say this blessing asking the Gods/elements/Spirit (whoever you choose) to protect your BOS and keep unwanted eyes away from it. Writing it in the front of your Book of Shadows binds the protective energies to your book . If you use this blessing, change it at least a little - everything is more powerful when it's personalised. Also, the mentions of the elements are in the order they're in (Fire, Water, Air and Earth) because I like to use the Melbourne compass and go clockwise from North (just so you know).

This blessing is a mixture of blessings from Witchy Way and the Complete Idiot's Guide to Wicca and Witchcraft.
