Esbats are generally celebrated at night on the Full Moons 12 (or 13) a year. They are a time to honour and celebrate the Goddess and
Her energy and also an excellent time to work magick. Many Witches
Draw Down the Moon in esbat rituals to fill themselves with the Goddess energy.
The names and working suggestions below are generally considered quaint and not particularly relevant (by many Witches), but I personally like to use the 'name' of a full Moon when I'm writing an esbat ritual and so I've put them up here. The suggested workings are not iron-clad - a full Moon is an excellent time for any type of magick. Remember the
Wiccan Rede - "When the Moon rides at her peak, then your heart's desire seek".
